Sermorelin GRF 1-29 2 mg Vial
Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone Analogue (GHRH) sometimes called GRF 1-29. Sermorelin (GRF 1-29), a 29 amino acid analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), is the shortest synthetic peptide with full biological activity of GHRH. Intravenous and subcutaneous sermorelin specifically stimulate growth hormone secretion from the anterior pituitary. It is commonly prescribed for anti-aging purposes as a safer alternative to HGH. Sermorelin, by itself, cannot replace HGH to treat children HGH deficiency, as studies showed that higher sermorelin (GRF 1-29) doses does not result in higher HGH release, due to counteractive production of somatostatin. However, there is some evidence, that administration of growth hormone releasing peptides with Sermorelin, such as Ipamorelin, will block somatostatin and result in synergistic release of HGH. This can possibly used as a full alternative to HGH therapy. Unlike CJC1295 DAC, Sermorelin (GRF 1-29) does not cause GH bleed (continues production of HGH). Sermorelin (GRF 1-29) produces very natural pulses of HGH release, which are very important for therapeutic HGH benefit. GH bleed was linked to water retention, lethargy, tumours and other unwanted side effects. Sermorelin (GRF 1-29), half-life is very short (5-10min), but it is sufficient to mimic natural GHRH release and any longer half-life does not necessarily mean a better HGH pulse, but rather prolonged bleed.
Description:
3.2 kDa peptide containing 29 amino acid residues.
Tyr-Ala-Asp-Ala-Ile-Phe-Thr-Asn-Ser-Tyr-Arg-Lys-Val-Leu-Gly-Gln-Leu-Ser-Ala-Arg-Lys-Leu-Leu-Gln-Asp-Ile-Met-Ser-Arg-NH2
Synonyms:
GRF 1-29, Sermorelin, GHRH 1-29 fragment.
Physical Appearance:
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Specificity:
The amino acid sequence of the sermorelin is a fragment version of naturally occurring GHRH. Therefore, sermorelin has an affinity for GHRH receptor.
Purity:
>99.8% (HPLC analyzed).
Solubility:
Add 1 ml of sterile diluent and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely.
Stability:
Store lyophilized peptide at -20 °C. Reconstituted peptide can be stored at 4 °C for a limited period of time (4 Weeks). The lyophilized peptide remains stable until the expiry date when stored at -20 °C(48 Months).
